2nd Annual Bee Photo Hunt

Looking for a FREE, fun family activity on Saturday, June 25? Round up your family, smartphone and head to specified town parks to take photos of (mostly) hidden bee and bee-hive signs. You can even pick a team name and take selfies with some of your signs! All ages can participate. You must submit at least 20 bee sign photos to be eligible for a prize. The Hunt starts at 9am and ends at 4pm. Pick up your prize the same day at Hillsborough United Methodist Church parking lot (corner of Tryon and Wake Streets 4-6pm. The event is sponsored by the Hillsborough Garden Club in celebration of National Pollinator Week.

Pollinators work hard to pollinate some of our favorite food crops, including strawberries, watermelon, coffee, chocolate, most tree fruits and more. Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, beetles, wasps and other pollinators are critical to our food supply and the plant life on which we depend. Hillsborough is the 35th Bee City USA.
