Advanced Soap Making Workshop- Holiday Edition

Just in time for holiday gift giving, we’ll be hosting our last soap making workshop of 2019 on Saturday, December 7th from 10:00am-1:30pm. The soap you will make in class can be used for gifts or you make more on your own before the holidays….of course we suspect many of you will want to keep it all for yourselves!! In this advanced class, we will be making the Peppermint Twist soap. We will use techniques such as controlling trace, using mica powders for color, use of essential oils in soap, soap piping techniques and more!

Stephanie from Red Mountain Goodness will lead this hands-on class and share her expertise on cold process soap making and the ingredients that go into soap. Each participant will go home with about 2 lbs. of soap as well as one of our natural, farm grown loofah bath sponges! The soap will need to cure before it can be used so we’ll provide a container which will be your soap mold and allow you to take it home safely. Light refreshments will be served. The fee for the class is $85. Prior attendance of the intro class or previous soap making experience is required.
