Home for the Holidays

November 25 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

It’s time for our annual Holiday fundraiser! Join us and our fabulous, talented storytellers for a great evening to benefit the museum.

There will be a special champagne welcome reception for VIPs at 6:00pm and a Meet & Greet with the authors, then doors open at 6:30pm with a wine and cheese reception and live music from John Stevens. The storytelling begins at 7:00pm and there will be a silent auction throughout the evening, with final bids taken during the intermission.

Our storytellers are:

Barbara Claypole White, bestselling author of The Perfect Son, a Goodreads Choice Awards nominee for Best Fiction 2015.

Bianca Diaz, Miami native, widely published poet, Pushcart Prize nominee, author of No One Says Kin Anymore.

Steven Petrow, award-winning journalist & columnist at USA Today & The Washington Post, New York Times & NPR contributor.

Alan Shapiro, Pulitzer Prize finalist; author of Life Pig and That Self-Forgetful Perfectly Useless Concentration.

Earl Mathis, creative writer, storyteller, rural NC native, and author of Table Fables.

So support local history and join us for some festive cheer and a seasonal night to remember!
