DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day or the entire weekend to enjoy the love of antiques through our vendors booths\, appraisals and onsite auction over this weekend event Friday through Sunday.  This event was inspired by a visit from Mike and Frank from the hit TV show to our farm.  \n​ \nLocated in the heart of Carolina between the Triangle and Triad you can come and buy or sell your favorite antiques.  With affordable prices and opportunities of outdoor and covered vendor spots in our barns our vendors and visitors will enjoy great amenities and downhome Southern hospitality.   Our charity this year is the Meridian Community Foundation which is looking to build a large park within Northern Orange County.  \nWe look forward to seeing yall soon!

DESCRIPTION:Experience American history through the unique perspective of one of North Carolina’s oldest and most historically significant towns\, with a guided walking tour of downtown Hillsborough. Established in 1754 as the seat of government for Orange County\, Hillsborough’s colonial legacy and signs of its importance in North Carolina and American history can be seen everywhere. \nThe tour begins at the Hillsborough Visitors Center\, located in the eighteenth century Alexander Dickson Farm House\, and guides visitors to a variety of historic places from the site of a 1790s African American-owned distillery to the 1840s Orange County Courthouse and the grave of one of North Carolina’s signers of the Declaration of Independence. \nThis is an in-person walking tour that sometimes crosses uneven terrain. Please plan to be walking or standing for the duration of the event\, wear comfortable walking shoes\, and bring a water bottle (plus your curiosity)! \nFor groups that are concerned about the length\, duration\, or terrain of the tour. DESCRIPTION:Located in Hillsborough\, North Carolina\, Ayr Mount strikes a startling figure in the historical town. The 1815 federal\, masonry edifice was the first of its kind in this once bustling trade town\, and thanks to the preservation efforts of our founder Richard Jenrette\, remains well preserved with several original family objects on display. \nCAHPT invites you to explore the site to learn about the design\, construction\, and maintenance of the estate as well as the lives of those\, enslaved and free\, who crafted and occupied the extravagant home and landscape from 1820 to 2018. \nVisitors are welcome to explore the site select Thursdays\, Fridays\, and Saturdays April through November. Guided tours will be offered Thursday & Friday at 1:00pm and 2:30pm. Tour times for Saturday take place at 11:00am\, 1:00pm\, and 2:30pm. All guests must purchase tickets in advance. \nTickets can be purchased here: https://secure.classicalamericanhomes.org/nx/portal/neonevents/events#/events/ \nThis is a potentially strenuous tour which includes climbing stairs\, traversing uneven terrain\, and enduring uncomfortable weather conditions and the presence of bugs or other wildlife. We regret that we cannot be responsible for those needing assistance and encourage all guests to dress accordingly. Candy for every child at the end of the barn (if you survive!) and a pumpkin patch so you can pick out your perfect pumpkin! \nWitch Hazel has been busy conjuring up all sorts of spirits\, and the Haunted Barn has it all: A coffin fitting room\, complete with outfits for your eternal rest\, a graveyard full of unsettled souls\, Aliens\, First and Last Aid with a Mad Doctor\, Spiders\, spiders\, and more spiders\, Creepy Dolls\, a haunted nursery – ring around a rosie\, pocket full of posies…\, a fire swamp\, a coffin in the kitchen where the Kitchen Crone is whipping up delectable goodies\, Skellies everywhere\, The Butcher’s room\, Hallway of Horrors (and clowns)\, the Vault\, the Dungeon\, a Witches Coven and so much more. \nIn addition to the barn: See the horses\, donkeys\, goats and chickens. Spend time walking around the farm on our trails – the Pond Walk and Pasture walk and the labyrinth are open! Enjoy food and crafts from our vendors\, make a craft\, and pick out your perfect pumpkin from our patch.  It’s a wonderful way to spend a Saturday in the Fall. \nPhotography and Costumes are encouraged. Virtual tickets available in the farm’s online store\, good for any Saturday in October (rain or shine). Gates open at 11 am and the barn is open from noon till 7 pm.  The twilight hours we added this year will be fun for those that like things a little more spooky!
