DESCRIPTION:Double Martini Productions is excited to continue our Live Model drawing event on every Second Saturday of the month. Every Second Saturday in 2026\, in Historic Downtown Hillsborough. Please pre-register – our models travel from all over NC and we need to assure attendance for their travels! Thank you so much! \nJoin Troupe members at Snow Approach Foundation (SAF)(129 E. King Street\, 27278)\, for an afternoon of Vaudeville\, Burlesque\, and Vintage Pin-Up themed art models. Artists provide their own supplies. \nThis event is open to everyone who is interested in Live Model Figure Drawing. **All skill levels** are invited to come relax with us and enjoy an afternoon with a variety of models in interesting\, dimensional\, texture-filled costumes and accessories. SAF offers a very cozy\, comfortable space. The Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe will provide the model(s) as well as the time moderator. DESCRIPTION:In preparation for Spring 2027’s Handmade Puppet Parade\, join us to take the first steps in constructing your very own puppet! At this workshop\, you will learn how to build the skeleton (armature) of your puppet\, sculpt its face\, and add details with papier-mâché. By the end of this workshop\, you should have a good start to your puppet and walk away with our DIY puppet manual to continue progress on your creation. \nRegistration Fee: $25 per person \nChild/adult pairs only require one ticket to attend (if collaborating on one puppet). \n​Ages 12 and up. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. \nSpace is limited\, and first-come\, first-serve! \nOur Instructor: Sol Ramirez \nSol Ramirez is the founder and director of 1\,2\,3 Puppetry\, a puppet theater company based in Chapel Hill. Artists provide their own supplies. \nThis event is open to everyone who is interested in Live Model Figure Drawing. **All skill levels** are invited to come relax with us and enjoy an afternoon with a variety of models in interesting\, dimensional\, texture-filled costumes and accessories. SAF offers a very cozy\, comfortable space. The Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe will provide the model(s) as well as the time moderator. We will watch the clock\, so you can keep your focus on your drawing. \nThis is not a teaching class\, but an opportunity for you to use and expand your skills and talents in a very welcoming atmosphere. \nThe session will be timed in the following segments (short breaks will be scheduled throughout the event): \n5 minute warm-up pose/draw – all three models \n5 minute warm-up pose/draw – all three models \n10 minute warm-up pose/draw – all three models \nShort Break \n15 minute pose/draw model 1 \n15 minute pose/draw model 2 \n15 minute pose/draw model 3 \nShort break \n15 minute pose/draw model 1 \n15 minute pose/draw model 2 \n15 minute pose/draw model 3 \nPlease bring your own supplies in your preferred medium and set up at any of the numerous seating areas\, or bring your own easel. \nDoors open for this event at 10:30am\, with the first pose by 11:00am. \nSeveral short breaks will be scheduled. \nPlease pre-register using the ‘Donate’ button. Tickets are a suggested $15 – $25 donation. 100% of your ticket price benefits non-profit community missions.
