DESCRIPTION:A drop in session – you can come for some or all of the time — dedicated to gel printing. \nWe have lots of gel print supplies – a variety of gel plates\, brayers\, papers\, mark and texture makers\, stencils\, stamps\, supplies for making your own stamps and stencils\, and paints. You are also welcome to bring materials of your own if you’d like. \nThe sessions are designed for adults and mature teens with basic gel printing skills – there is NO instruction\, though there are individuals who can provide general assistance to people with rudimentary gel printing knowledge. \nThe sessions are “pay as you please\,” with a $20 suggestion. We recognize everyone’s usage is different\, so please pay what you think is fair\, and you can afford. DESCRIPTION:“Pete the Cat: Original Art by James Dean” on view in Hillsborough\, NC\, 1/3/25 through 4/3/25\nHillsborough\, NC – The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough and Mike’s Art Truck are excited to present “Pete the Cat: Original Art by James Dean.” This selection of Dean’s popular “CAT-themed” paintings will be on display from January 3 through April 3\, 2025\, at the Alexander Dickson House\, the historic building which houses the Hillsborough Visitors Center. \nArtist James Dean\, self-taught creator of that iconic blue feline\, Pete the Cat\, graciously shares a unique collection of his original paintings in this exhibition. The show is expected to confirm once again that “Everybody Loves Pete.” Exhibition artwork is available for purchase directly through Mike’s Art Truck.
