The lineup includes the COLOR AND LIGHT CHOIR\, BALLRATZ art rock collective\, PROJECT MASTANA’s bollywood funk\, GODI GODAR on Congolese Marimba\,  RED KALYNA – Ukrainian\, THE ICE CREAM SOCIALISTS – French\, THE HALFBACKS\, featuring Jess Klein and Mike June\, Mexican singer songwriter  EMMSY\,  SYN3 playing classic British Rock\,  SON DE CAROLINA – Mexican Son Jarocho\, and BATALA Brazilian drums.  \nSunday\, October 11 programming of theater\, dance\, music and film will run from 1PM to 9 PM at Eno House\, 903 Eno St\, Hillsborough\, NC. The lineup includes HILLSBOROUGH YOUTH THEATRE\, HIGHLAND DANCERS\, FOOTNOTES TAP DANCERS with live jazz\, Singer/Songwriter duo OMYMACHINE\, THE BOILING FROG COLLECTIVE\, featuring live music with experimental  video art\,  and a film presentation by DURHAM CINEMATHEQUE\, including a silent film with Alexandra Franco on piano. \nFlushFest’s origin story dates back to 2017 when independent filmmaker Grace Beeler sought funds to complete a documentary on a Brazilian sewer system that benefits urban slums. Her neighbor Peter stepped in\, offering to host a music festival\, and FlushFest was born. Over the years\, FlushFest has become a cherished West Hillsborough tradition\, and Grace’s film projects have evolved into the nonprofit\, The Appropriate Sanitation Institute.  \nFlushFest proudly supports The Appropriate Sanitation Institute\, working to expand global access to clean water.  Join us for a day of community-building fun with admission by donation. DESCRIPTION:Double Martini Productions is excited to continue our Live Model drawing event on every Second Saturday of the month. Every Second Saturday in 2026\, in Historic Downtown Hillsborough. Please pre-register – our models travel from all over NC and we need to assure attendance for their travels! Thank you so much! \nJoin Troupe members at Snow Approach Foundation (SAF)(129 E. King Street\, 27278)\, for an afternoon of Vaudeville\, Burlesque\, and Vintage Pin-Up themed art models. Artists provide their own supplies. \nThis event is open to everyone who is interested in Live Model Figure Drawing. **All skill levels** are invited to come relax with us and enjoy an afternoon with a variety of models in interesting\, dimensional\, texture-filled costumes and accessories. SAF offers a very cozy\, comfortable space. The Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe will provide the model(s) as well as the time moderator. SUMMARY:An Afternoon of Vaudeville Art:  A Unique Drawing Event
DESCRIPTION:Double Martini Productions is excited to continue our Live Model drawing event on every Second Saturday of the month. Every Second Saturday in 2026\, in Historic Downtown Hillsborough. Please pre-register – our models travel from all over NC and we need to assure attendance for their travels! Thank you so much! \nJoin Troupe members at Snow Approach Foundation (SAF)(129 E. King Street\, 27278)\, for an afternoon of Vaudeville\, Burlesque\, and Vintage Pin-Up themed art models. Artists provide their own supplies. \nThis event is open to everyone who is interested in Live Model Figure Drawing. **All skill levels** are invited to come relax with us and enjoy an afternoon with a variety of models in interesting\, dimensional\, texture-filled costumes and accessories. SAF offers a very cozy\, comfortable space. The Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe will provide the model(s) as well as the time moderator. We will watch the clock\, so you can keep your focus on your drawing. \nThis is not a teaching class\, but an opportunity for you to use and expand your skills and talents in a very welcoming atmosphere. \nThe session will be timed in the following segments (short breaks will be scheduled throughout the event): \n5 minute warm-up pose/draw – all three models \n5 minute warm-up pose/draw – all three models \n10 minute warm-up pose/draw – all three models \nShort Break \n15 minute pose/draw model 1 \n15 minute pose/draw model 2 \n15 minute pose/draw model 3 \nShort break \n15 minute pose/draw model 1 \n15 minute pose/draw model 2 \n15 minute pose/draw model 3 \nPlease bring your own supplies in your preferred medium and set up at any of the numerous seating areas\, or bring your own easel. \nDoors open for this event at 10:30am\, with the first pose by 11:00am. \nSeveral short breaks will be scheduled. \nPlease pre-register using the ‘Donate’ button. SUMMARY:17th Annual Trail Run/Walk at Chestnut Ridge
DESCRIPTION:Location: Camp Chestnut Ridge. Efland\, NC \nDate: Nov 21\, 2026           \nRace Start Times: \n9:30am – 1 mile Fun Run/Walk \n10:00am – 5k run or walk \n10:15am – 8 mile run  \nRace Route: The race will be run entirely on trails and camp roads (dirt and gravel). The course will feature rolling hills through old hardwood forests and go around a 10 acre lake. Water stations will be provided. \nProceeds from the race will benefit ministries at camp such as the Chestnut Ridge Campership Fund which helps provide scholarships for children and youth in financial need\, so that they can have positive camp experiences at Chestnut Ridge. By running in the race\, you can help send a kid to camp this summer!
