SUMMARY:Couples Massage Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Couple’s Massage Workshop\, designed specifically for couples interested in learning how to support one another through bodywork.\nParticipants will be guided through a sequence of basic assisted stretching and massage techniques and will leave with new skills and resources to bring home. \nWhat you’ll learn:\n\nTherapeutic massage techniques to safely address day-to-day stress and injury complaints.\nHow to prevent self-injury and injury to your companion while performing a massage.\nTechniques to develop open communication about pressure and quality of touch preferences.\n\nThis class is geared towards\, but not limited to\, romantic couples or life partners. Anyone wishing to cultivate their ability to support the people in their lives through massage is welcome to join. That said\, the cost of admission is for two people\, and anyone wishing to attend must bring a massage partner with whom they feel safe exchanging close touch. Many of the techniques in this class will require the ability to get up off the floor\, squat\, or kneel. Bolsters\, blankets\, and mats will be provided; however\, please be mindful of your personal limits. \nTickets here
