The Magnolia is a brand new, multi-story treehouse, nestled on a charming wooded lot, minutes to downtown Hillsborough, NC. Built in the treetops, this bright and airy space is full of handmade touches and warm wood tones. Enjoy your tea or coffee on the second story deck for two, relax in the cozy loft bedroom with views of the forest, prepare meals in the kitchen for a night in, and wrap up your day beside the outdoor fire pit and water garden. The space
The Magnolia offers guests a cozy living room, a dining table for two, a small kitchen, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, a second story loft bedroom with an en-suite balcony for two, a wrap around main level porch with rocking chairs, and a fire pit and chairs for outdoor relaxation.
Guest access
Guests at The Magnolia will have full access to the space with the exception of a small storage cabinet reserved for our cleaner.

A note about treehouses.
The Magnolia was designed and engineered by Creative Treehouse Designs and Medlock & Associates Architecture and Design Firm. The treehouse was built to specific sealed engineered blueprints which exceed the Residential Building Code for North Carolina. Orange County of North Carolina Building Inspections performed and approved all formal inspections during construction.
This treehouse is totally supported by trees and is designed to move with the trees which are yoked together by the support platform. Therefore, in winds exceeding 10 miles per hour, guests will feel movement on the deck platform and within the house. The treehouse is designed to withstand hurricane force winds. As winds get higher, movement increases, making for more excitement during your stay.
