About Gardens of Montrose
Montrose, a listed property in the National Register of Historic Places, is the home of Nancy and Craufurd Goodwin.
The grounds include several 19th century buildings, a rock garden, scree garden, extensive woodland plantings, and large areas of sunny gardens with unique color and planting schemes.
Guided tours are available by appointment on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 10am.
Tours are offered from September through May. Groups of 6 or more may arrange tours at other times by calling in advance. A selection of plants, produced on the property, are available for purchase at the end of each tour.
Payment for tours accepted by check. Please make checks payable to Montrose Foundation.
