Poetry for Everybody

OCPL invites you to celebrate and enjoy poetry with a series of events for all ages hosted by Hillsborough’s Poet Laureate, Dee Stribling, at the Main Library in Hillsborough. Hear poems written by well-known authors, sign-up to read a poem of your own if you’d like, and participate in the experience of writing a poem as a group. Celebrating the Holiday Season | Wed., November 20th, 6:30-7:30pm
We’ll enjoy poetry written in honor of the many holidays that occur around this time of the year. Following questions and discussion, those attending will have the opportunity to share by reading an original poem they’ve written around this month’s theme. We’ll end with all of us contributing ideas, lines, and words to create our own poem.
