August 26, 2023:

We are focusing on writing! Taking inspiration from surrealist artists we will practice surrealist writing games (ex. Write an ad for a product no one wants).

Guest artist Gideon Young will lead us in putting together puzzle-piece poetry haiku writing and creating small bamboo prayer trees. No former experience with writing haiku puzzles or bamboo is necessary!

We encourage imagination having fun and trying new things. This class will be focused on short writings that may be shared in a small group.
