Dubb Trubb: Big Bad Bears Improv & Bottom Line Burlesque

January 31, 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Be ready for a big night of DOUBLE TROUBLE when these two performance groups merge into one lane filled with entertaining shenanigans!

Join The Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe along with Big Bad Bear Improv at King Street Bar, for an evening of fun, sassy, and very often hilarious exploits – with a great big, huge dollop of song, dance and more thrown in! (King Street Bar performance is for 21+ )

Showtime starts at 7:30pm when Big Bad Bear Improv takes the stage. This fun crew will take you on a great unknown journey – it’s improv – get it!?! Clever, huh!? Seriously, Big Bad Bear has a great following and a fantastic reputation on stage as a super entertaining ensemble. Big Bad Bear Improv is Brian Johnson, Jeffrey Moore and Brian Thacker and is based right here in the triangle area. They are self-described as “Just three gay men exploring gender, characters, and what makes people tick”. Don’t be afraid of the Big Bad Bears!

The Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe is an all-volunteer organization based in Hillsborough, NC. This unique Troupe aligns with non-profits and community groups to assist in their fund-raising efforts. We promote body positivity and nurturing the skin we are in. The Troupe offers a variety show, based on the old Vaudeville-platform, and the days of satirical, yet sexy Burlesque.

In lieu of tickets, donations will be collected to support The UNC Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders (UNC CEED). The Troupe will perform a full-length show for UNC CEED later in the season. So stay tuned!

More details about the show will be posted in upcoming days. Make sure to invite your friends! Follow our FB page to receive updates.
