Grammy Nominee “Jumpin'” Johnny Sansone w/ Mel Melton

If you don’t already know who Johnny Sansone is, it’s high time you found out about him. Grammy Nominee, BMA Winner…world renowned harmonica and accordion player, singer/songwriter – what more could Hillsborough ask for!

Joining Johnny will be special guest Mel Melton & The Wicked Mojos. For those not in the know: the band is fronted by singer/harmonicist Mel Melton, who logged a lot of road time with both Cheniers Clifton and C.J., and most notably Sonny Landreth. He is backed by the fiery guitar work of Max Drake and the dynamic driving rhythm section of bassist T.A. James and drummer Kelly Pace. The Wicked Mojos play a mixture of blues, zydeco/cajun, funk, swamp pop that is best described as “Louisiana Dance Hall Music”. Without a doubt, this band will set your soul and feet on fire.
