Hillsborough’s Last Fridays & the Art Walk!

2022 Last Fridays are coming to an end, but we have one last event to share with the community on November 25, 2022. In addition to new exhibitions and gallery openings on the Art Walk, Novembers event will feature the following programming:

• The First Poetry “Prose” Workshop: A Friends-Giving for Empowering Writers
  6-8 PM at November 25’s Last Friday & the Art Walk

With additional funding generously awarded through Orange County Arts Commission’s Grassroots Grant to reinvigorate HAC’s Literary Arts Programs, we’re launching a series of writing and poetry workshops.

We invite all writing lovers to release self-doubt and judgment to nurture your voice, creativity, and confidence to share, among a supportive community family.

In this workshop, we’ll explore intuitive writing, guided by gratitude for what we CAN control.

• Solstice Lantern Make & Take Table in the HAC Gallery & Gift Shop!

6-9 PM at November 25’s Last Friday & the Art Walk

Drop in to the HAC Gallery & Gift Shop during November’s event to decorate and take home a papier-mâché lantern for this year’s Solstice Lantern Walk!

 We’ll be adding paint, paper, leaves and flowers, glitter, and more to lantern shells prepared in advance by generous HAC volunteers.

After November’s event, HAC will be in focused preparations for another phenomenal season of art and community fun in Hillsborough, NC. The Art Walk will continue year-round with additional Last Fridays programming returning in March 2023.
