It’s Pickle Time at Forget-Me-Not Farm!

The garden is hopping and the bees are busy pollinating our cucumbers. This means it will soon be time to make some pickles! Do you love the idea of canning some pickles, fruit or other veggies for your family but aren’t sure how to do so safely? Never fear, we are partnering with Christine Green from local Woodcrest Farm to host our first Canning 101 Class! Chris is an experienced canner and has been teaching the skill for years – now she’s ready to teach you. During this hands-on class, participants will work together under Chris’ guidance to make both bread & butter pickles and dill pickles. We will provide the expertise along with all the materials including our farm fresh cucumbers – you will be able to take a small jar of each variety home to enjoy!
