Original imported oil paintings of the Scottish Highlands in Saltire Gallerie, with local historian Scott Washington in true Outlander home built by James Hogg of Scotland 1794
James traveled from Scotland to Hillsborough in 1774, settling beside the hanging site of six Regulators. His home was occupied by Governor Tryon, and he later built ‘Banks of the Eno’ in 1794, now a home and Gallerie dedicated to Scottish landscapes.
