Regulator Remembrance Event

The public is invited to attend the annual Regulator Remembrance Event at the Regulator Historic Site in Cameron Park behind the Orange County Board of Education Building.at 200 E. King Street. The event commemorates the day in 1771 that six patriots were executed by the order of the English colonial governor William Tryon. The names of the regulators will be read, a bell will toll, and the public is invited to bring flowers to place on the marble slab at the site.
