Stage Reading, The Christmas Chicken

On Christmas Eve in Victorian England, Jack, a blind boy, sits alone by the hearth, making a Christmas wish: he would like a dog. Suddenly he hears a scrambling in the chimney and something plops into the room. Jack is overjoyed! Santa Claus has brought him a dog! Except it’s actually a chicken, but don’t tell Jack. He and his “King” have some wonderful adventures with a colorful cast of characters who rally around Jack. Lots of fun for the entire family!  At the Seymour Center.
