The Burwell School Historic Site invites you to celebrate its 60th anniversary with a Masquerade soiree and auction. All proceeds go to support the mission of the Burwell School

Friday, April 28th – 6 pm

Last Fridays & Art Walk hosted by the Hillsborough Arts Council. Enjoy these FREE town-wide celebrations of art & community each month. Tour local galleries, check out Living Arts in River Park, enjoy the roaming poets and live music, & much more.

River Park Concert
Saturday, April 29th – 12 pm

River Park Concert is BACK! Triangle Music Alliance hosts the FREE all-day music festival, including four bands, local beer, food, art vendors, live mural painting, and a community mural. Festivities start at noon.

Hillsborough Garden Tour
Saturday, May 6th – 9am

Mark your calendars for the Hillsborough Garden Tour 2023. We will have 13 gorgeous gardens for you to explore! The title of the tour says it all. Some of the gardens are free-flowing masses of beautiful flowers, shrubs, and trees…Untamed.  All of the gardens are hidden gems…Unexpected.  And ALL of the gardens are just beautiful…..Unbelievable!

Our River Walk trail spans close to 2 miles along the Eno River. Park at Gold Park or Occoneechee Speedway and trek throughout scenic Hillsborough, learning a bit about the towns history along the way.

New exhibit coming soon @orangehistorync !! Treasure Hunters : Orange County Collectors opens to the public Saturday February 11th. The exhibit will feature collections from 16 collectors and showcases many others.
