Our plant sale fundraisers offer a variety of uncommon to rare keystone species plants, native plants, host and nectar plants, that support butterfly and moth life cycles. We grow all herbaceous plants ourselves at our home-based nursery to guarantee that the plants we sell are safe for caterpillars and adult insects. Simply put: our plants are meant to be eaten!

Our plant sale fundraiser takes place in Hillsborough on Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th from 11 AM to 5 PM both days. The event is rain or shine, though we will cancel any date that is subject to severe weather. We will post any weather related messages on our Facebook page and website.
The Pre-Sale starts on Sunday, September 24th at 10 AM on our website at www.backyardbutterflies.org/shop. The Pre-Sale is perfect for securing those plants that are limited quantity or high demand. It is also perfect for those who like to shop online or know exactly what they want. Pick-ups for online orders will take place during the dates and times of the physical plant sale.
