This Last Friday event will feature Master Beekeeper, C. Bee. Bee (it really is their given name) learned the craft of keeping honeybees from their father. The craft has been a family tradition handed down for generations. Now in their 60s, Bee has kept bees for over 50 years. Bee currently has only about a dozen hives, but was in charge of several hundred before they retired and scaled down. Keeping bees is not just something done for the harvest of honey. It’s a privilege afforded those who care about the environment, want to learn life’s lessons taught by an amazing insect, and wish to watch the connections of nature.
