Life in the 19th-Century: A Pop Up Historical Exhibit
The Burwell School Historic Site invites you to explore "Life in the 19th-Century," a historical pop up exhibit. Take a step back in time and learn about the daily life in the 1800's. Held at the Historic Eagle Lodge #19, Burwell is proud to partner with the Chapel Hill Historical Society, Morehead Planetarium, Alliance for Historic Hillsborough, Eagle Lodge #19, Hillsborough Rotary Club, and UNC Wilson Library to bring you a family-friendly experience of artifacts and activities. Bring the family and celebrate summer and its glorious tomato harvest! The Tomato Picnic & Tasting will take place on the lawn of the Burwell School from 11 am to 2 pm on July 23rd.
