Last Fridays & the Art Walk 2023

Program Details:

Last Fridays Makers Markets on the Courthouse lawn (Coming May – October 2023) are community art fairs, dedicated to showcasing: 

• Local artists/makers, offering original, handmade work!

• A limited number of local community groups/nonprofits, offering activities and services to the public.

• Special monthly arts programming, entertainment, family activities/crafts, and community collaborations, curated by HAC.

Drumming and Dancers at River Park

Join the Living Arts Collective for Last Fridays Living Arts Drum Circles, Dancewaves; and interactive, educational activities in Hillsborough’s River Park!

No matter what your experience or comfort level with dance and art may be, this is your opportunity to move and create as you wish within an intergenerational community space. All ages and experience levels welcome. 

Roaming Poets

Jen (@Jen_Jus_Write) is a writer/poet, performance artist, public speaker, teacher, mental health advocate, youth coach, podcaster/filmmaker, business owner, marketing professional, and the host of our 2023 Last Fridays Roaming Poets series!

The Roaming Poets series features a monthly lineup of inspired, local poets & spoken word artist, stopping at multiple downtown locations to share words and heart with the community.
