Let’s Go Fishing, a needle felting workshop with Connie Swindoll

September 12 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

For beginners, and for experienced needle felters seeking to refresh or extend their skills.

Connie will guide you through the basic steps of creating a 3D needle felting project — assembling the correct supplies, creating the base shape, adding details and texture, and finishing – as you create your own unique needle felted goldfish ornament!

Our small, intimate group setting allows for individualized attention from an experienced needle felting teacher who looks forward to sharing her joy in this enjoyable, stress-reducing artform.

From Connie:

I’m a fiber artist specializing in wool needle felting, a craft I’ve been practicing for the past 10 years. What began as a creative outlet has become something much more meaningful to me. I find the process of working with wool to be both therapeutic and deeply enjoyable.

There’s something special about taking a simple handful of wool and patiently transforming it into something beautiful. Needle felting allows me to slow down, be present, and let my creativity take shape—one fiber at a time.

Through my work, I hope to share the joy, warmth, and sense of calm that I’ve found in this wonderful art form.
