Picnic for Preservation

This month, the Chili Billie’s Cooking Team is serving up picnic food to raise funds for preservation of our historic Masonic Hall. They are selling hot dogs, hamburgers, chili – of course! – and all the other fixings. We will also have an assortment of chips, sodas, and bottled water for purchase, too.

The Chili Billie’s Cooking Team is made up of Tim Walker and Jason Ross, lifelong friends who were born about two weeks apart and grew up on adjoining farms in northern Alamance County. They enjoy competitive cooking of all kinds but most recently have been traveling the east coast as far north as WV and as far south as Florida cooking in International Chili Society sanctioned chili cook offs, where both have qualified for the World Championships to be held in Indianapolis in October.
