Revolutionary War Living History Day

May 8, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Living History day has become a tradition in Hillsborough for almost twenty years. Each year, people gather to learn about the history and get a first-hand look at one of the most historically significant towns in North Carolina. Hillsborough and Orange County played a significant role in the years leading up to the Revolution.

This year the Alliance will be hosting events in-person and online. Visitors can stop by the Dickson House to view Revolutionary War reenactors, say hello to award-winning author Suzanne Adair, and browse the gift shop. Free tours will also be offered at sister sites- The Burwell School Historic Site, and The Orange County Historical Museum. Virtual attendees can explore the online exhibit and view videos from Historical Interpretations, Daughters of the Revolution Davie Chapter, and more. Additional details regarding the online exhibit to come.

Revolutionary War Living History Day is free and open to the public.
