Severed Specimens and Cultural Critiques, a CRHS International Baccalaureate Art Senior Student Show featuring Nichole Palombo

The second of this year’s Cedar Ridge High School International Baccalaureate Art senior student shows.

From Nichole: I aim to utilize a scientific lens to address how environmental neglect leads to social and ethical dilemmas. Whether this concept is approached by mediums of acrylic, wool, collage or found objects, all encourage the viewer to reflect on how our current societal systems harm each other and the environment.

The show runs Wednesday, March 18 through Sunday, April 12 at Margaret Lane Gallery, 121 W Margaret Lane, Hillsborough, NC.

The opening reception — which is free and open to the general public — will be held Friday March 20, 6 to 7:30.
