About Hillsborough Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting
Historic Hillsborough comes alive with the Holiday spirit as it ‘Lights up the Night’ with a fantastic parade. The Hillsborough Holiday parade features bands, fire engines, local and area business floats, well-known mascots and cheerleaders, as well as Santa Claus and other special guest star performers and celebrity appearances. The parade is in the evening so that we can celebrate and ‘Light up the Night’ for the holidays. Downtown restaurants and shops are open to serve parade patrons before and after the festivities. Stop in and get some of that Christmas shopping done while at the parade!
Stay after the parade and congregate at the Old Courthouse for the tree lighting and group caroling.
