About Orange County Historical Museum
The mission of the Orange County Historical Museum is to enlighten and engage. The permanent exhibit traces the history of the county from in a chronological fashion, from indigenous settlements through the twentieth century. It features the only complete set of colonial weights and measures in the world. Special exhibits explore topics in greater depth and change annually. Kids Space allows children to experience life in Hillsborough 200 years ago.
Free and open to the public.
