It’s easy to use the Orange County Public Library as a Visitor or Resident. You can drop by the Hillsborough location and browse the materials or get a Library Card (free for area residents, $25 for visitors) with your photo ID.

Once you have your card, you may borrow materials (books, DVDs, e-books and more). You may also use the Library online resources to do research or even to learn another language. The Library offers a strong collection of print and digital materials, fun and engaging programs for all ages, and free access to public computers and wifi.
