Join us along with the “Man in the Moon” for this skywatching event. Kids and their families will learn about the moon through observations and hands-on astronomy activities. Jayme Hanzak, president of CHAOS (Chapel Hill Astronomical and Observational Society) will be here with his telescope and a wealth of knowledge to share. (We applied and were accepted to host a Star Party through the NC Science Festival sponsored by the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center.)
