Dr. Sylvia Hoffert, former professor of history and women's studies at UNC Chapel Hill, will speak on "Sticks and Stones: British Women Fight for the Vote." This special program at the Burwell School is free admission and is one in a series honoring the Year of the Woman and the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage.
