An Anniversary like No Other

Saint Patrick’s Day 2021 was not only about celebrating Irish festivities but also marked one year since the COVID-19 shutdowns began. 2020 was a year of the unexpected, and although restrictions are easing, 2021 has also not been the most reliable. Hillsborough teachers, parents, business owners, and patrons have trekked through 12-months of isolation, limitations, and fear. As we all continue to navigate the path of COVID-safety, a new normal has emerged, and dare we say that we see a glimmer of light. The Hillsborough community deserves a round of applause as we create the silver lining in a continuous storm. This is a look back at the wild ride of the last year.
