At PORCH Hillsborough, our local partnerships grew from a deep commitment to supporting the community around us. Guided by our motto, “Neighbors Helping Neighbors,” we’re proud to collaborate with local businesses—especially generous restaurants like these—that truly embody the spirit of giving back. These partnerships not only strengthen the fabric of our town but also help create the vibrant, welcoming community that draws visitors to Hillsborough. When local businesses come together to support their neighbors, it builds the kind of authentic, connected community that people want to experience — whether they’re here for a day or a lifetime.
Cup-A-Joe (Hillsborough location)
Cup-A-Joe (Hillsborough location) has been an incredible partner to PORCH Hillsborough, supporting their mission in countless meaningful ways. They have served as a holiday collection site for non-perishables, sponsored the PORCH for Schools summer fundraiser, and most recently hosted a plant sale with 100% of proceeds benefiting PORCH. They also generously welcome PORCH to hold their annual bake sale at the storefront. This partnership grew organically—PORCH volunteers were regulars at the shop, spreading awareness and inspiring Cup-A-Joe to get involved. Today, they stand as one of PORCH Hillsborough’s biggest community champions.

Nomad is more than just a holiday collection site—they’re part of the PORCH family. The owners are dedicated PORCH volunteers who live out their mission of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” year-round. PORCH Hillsborough is grateful for their hands-on support and for creating a space where giving back is always on the menu.
Weaver Street Market
Weaver Street Market has been a generous partner in PORCH Hillsborough’s mission to fight hunger. In the past, they have supported PORCH through round-up campaigns, enabling customers to turn small change into a big impact. They’ve also partnered with PORCH on food distributions, providing WSM gift cards to help local families access fresh, healthy groceries. PORCH Hillsborough is grateful for its ongoing commitment to community care.
Wooden Nickel
Wooden Nickel has been a key supporter of PORCH Hillsborough’s PORCH for Schools summer fundraiser, helping ensure that kids have access to nutritious food even when school is out. PORCH is also proud to source protein from Wooden Nickel Farms for some of their community distributions, bringing fresh, local options to the families they serve
